Santo Domingo Airport, officially known as Las Américas International Airport (IATA: SDQ, ICAO: MDSD) is located near Punta Caucedo and Boca Chica, 20 miles (32 km) east of Santo Domingo City, in the Dominican Republic.


Santo Domingo Airport has one runway and is the largest one in all Dominican Republic and also is one of the largest one in the Caribbean. This runway is able to support an Airbus A380.

Santo Domingo Airport operates as a hub for Air Century, Ara Jet, RED Air, Air Santo Domingo, Sky High Aviation Services and  Sky Cana.
